The Search Just Ended...

  • Yipee, the search for the replacement to the work-horse mobile of mine just ended today! Shubhangi and self spent the day on the Malls of Gurgaon the whole day to zero onto the new replacement.
  • I would like HTC to take note of the old customer retainership policy of theirs, as the older HTC (P3400i) will watch a HTC WildFire pickup the next call to me...
  • The search took a lot of time of ours to check out versioning of 2.1 vs 2.2 on the Android that replaces the Windows 6.1 that I had earlier.
  • More later. I am enjoying the short stay @ Delhi till the 24th Nov. Bye for now...

Rejuvenating Short Break...

  • A short break of 3-days can be such an elixir is to be felt to be believed!
  • We went on a un-chartered trip - starting towards Pachmarhi - starting because we had not made any holiday plans till the last min. All Google attempts to search out a nice place in the vicinity proved useless. Thereafter, all the small things(!) like accommodation, living, route etc was done enroute.

  • Regular visits to the WelcomGroup 'Satpura Retreat' for meals was great. Rishabh took to photography here. We have loads of snaps of chairs, mother-earth and sky; Rishabh's attempt to capture our faces (slightly moved frame there!).
  • Then, a plan to see the Tawa Resort came up. God was kind to get us a shack @ the last minute though it was a Saturday. Nice food, great view, a cruise on the lake - and lo! the spirits soared! Great trip indeed...

Trip to the Jain Temple!

  • It was a unplanned trip to the local Jain temple. The late night @ the mandir the previous night (...celebrating Janamashtami) had taken its toll on the kids - the first of the '...good morning' air-ed from them only past 9 AM!
  • The sky was overcast and a glance of the future - on my HTC whether app - agreed with the status from the window sill... but you are yet to meet a Deshpande whose spirits got dampened by the rain or humidity!
  • Any hope of sweat and grime (had to walk, you see) added to the clamour for "No bath now", and eventually democracy prevailed. We commenced, un-bathed,
